LANCASTER, PA. (March 14, 2018) — Health eTools for Schools, an electronic health record system for school nurses to manage student health, announced today that Catherine P. Hanson has been appointed CEO of the company.
The company also announced that it has received funding from outside investors and will introduce version 2.0 of the software later this year. The new version will feature an enhanced look and include the addition of a parent/guardian portal.

“I am delighted to assume leadership of a company whose mission is to help school nurses keep our nation’s students as healthy as possible,” Hanson said. “Version 2.0 of our flagship software platform will feature elements that will help school nurses, teachers and parents collaborate more effectively.
“I know first-hand how critical the partnership between schools and parents is in education,” she continued. “The enhancements we are making to Health eTools will help school nurses better serve all of their students.”
